LUAH is a registered charity which offers donors a Section 18A Tax Certificate (SARS). This passion project which is very close to our hearts and the founder Jackie Williams is a new Shareholder and Director of The Inside Edge, LUAH essentially installs simple, effective solar
units into rural and informal settlement homes.

Uplifting the quality of life of the impoverished instantaneously, resulting in improved academic performance and a reduction in death and injuries which is a massive issue with paraffin lights. The list of benefits goes on but improved air quality (no burning of fossil fuels for lighting), plus there is no need for illegal electricity connections and no ongoing costs for the beneficiaries unlike municipal power which ends up being disconnected for non payment to name but a few.

As well as homes LUAH has installed units in clinics, schools, creches and community centres.
